K-pop sensation Jisoo of the girl group BLACKPINK made her return on Friday with a brand-new solo single, “Eyes Closed,” which features British pop star Zayn.
The track was released on all major music streaming platforms both in and outside of South Korea at the start of the day, according to her agency, Blissoo.
This single marks the artist’s first new music in eight months, following the release of her solo album, Amortage, back in February.
Zayn, formerly of the popular British boy band One Direction, lends his vocals to the new single. Blissoo has described the song as offering “a new experience,” highlighting a blend of Jisoo’s distinctive vocals with Zayn’s smoky, textured voice.
